I never realised a 401k was named after a clause in the US internal revenue code I thought it was just memetically accepted wisdom in America that your pension should end up with four hundred and one thousand dollars in it which seemed simultaneously very high and very low.
Hot take I guess but I strongly believe that "I hate my assigned gender so much that I believe other trans people trying to transition to it are insane or will experience suffering" jokes are a lot like self-deprecating humour in that they initially seem like a fun little ironic thing to say that reinforces your own feelings and identity but if you indulge in them for any actual length of time they turn you into a viscerally unpleasant person with an unhealthy relationship to the world around you and a risk of formulating bad personal politics.
